The second way to leverage your Accreditation is to utilize our new Business Reviews. As a local business leader and Accredited Business, you understand that in today's marketplace, having a trustworthy reputation and brand is just as important as the quality of your work and customer service. For almost 100 years now, savvy consumers have been turning to the BBB to get reliable company information to make informed purchasing decisions. With your new Business Review, you can now provide consumers with more detailed information about your company.
A picture is worth 1,000 words – now use them in your BBB Business Review:
We have refreshed our web platform to provide exciting new features for all Accredited Businesses! These new designs will improve your ranking on search engines. Customize your BBB Business Review, by adding:
- educational photos
- important details for consumers, such as hours, refund policy, maps/directions
- improve your ranking on search engines with these new designs
- an opportunity for potential customers to request quotes
- user-friendly tools to share your Business Review across several social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter
STEP 1. Claim your business record by visiting: https://minnesota.app.bbb.org/account/report-finder/. Enter your Business ID and email address, and select the option, "No, I am new."
STEP 2. Verify your account by choosing your primary email address, phone number, or mailing address on file with the BBB, or simply enter your password used to access your Accredited Business-only page. You will receive notification that your account has been verified.
STEP 3. Edit your new Business Review. As an Accredited Business, there are five areas available for you to edit/update:
- Business description, products and refunds
- Basic business information
- Hours of operation
- Services
- Upload photos and videos of your work (please review the BBB's policy for displaying photographs and videos on your Business Review).
Your report will not immediately reflect your updated information, as your BBB representative must review and approve information before it is uploaded to your Business Review. Then, you may view the new format for your company’s Business Review by visiting www.bbb.org and searching by your company name.
