We Want to Connect With You!

As we christen our new electronic newsletter, it strikes me that technology has made connections among us easier--and yet harder. Our lives are filled with texts, tweets, emails, Facebook likes and comments, and we have the illusion that we are communicating more, at the speed of the fastest wireless connection. So too, the BBB now wants to connect with you electronically through this newsletter, in the hope that we will reach you more quickly and effectively. But, are we really communicating more in this world of networked transmissions? Maybe so...maybe not. 

Can we really discern the spam cluttering our lives from the truly important messages? Our goal is to create a valuable packet of information of use to you--the Accredited Businesses who support us and enable us to carry on a critical mission in today's complicated marketplace. We want to let you know how we are using the resources you have provided us…to make a difference not only for your own company but across the entire spectrum of the business world in Minnesota and North Dakota.   

Through our Integrity Awards, we are spotlighting the real marketplace heroes among us. Through our education and outreach programs, we are teaching consumers of all ages to spot and prevent fraud and scams, and informing them on how to make wise purchasing decisions. Through our mediation and conciliation efforts, we are bringing together often angry consumers and frustrated businesses to reach a middle ground and preserve their relationships. Through our co-branding and marketing efforts, we are increasing the visibility of the BBB, and thereby increasing the value proposition for you as a member. Check out our new online directory and the possible opportunities it offers you to spotlight your business. Also, really consider enhancing your company's Business Review by the addition of photos, videos, or special text, such as holiday hours or specials. Sign up for our monthly consumer newsletter, and tell your friends and neighbors to as well. It is a little gem of helpful tips...and it is free!
